Birmingham Perry Barr’s independent MP Ayoub Khan has demanded an apology from Keir Starmer and other politicians for their smears against Birmingham’s people after West Midlands Police banned notoriously violent and racist Maccabi Tel Aviv fans from attending the club’s European football fixture at Aston Villa.

Ayoub Khan demands apology from Starmer over Maccabi Tel Aviv

The scorn-dripping demand comes after claims by Starmer, Tory party leader Kemi Badenoch, Israel lobbyists, and others that the ban was ‘antisemitic’ and based on the thugs’ religion collapsed into ridicule when Israeli authorities cancelled last night’s ‘derby’ match between Maccabi and Hapoel Tel Aviv because of the violence and rioting of Maccabi fans.

And Khan said he is planning libel action against the racists who libelled him for defending the ban:

Maccabi fans have a long history of violence and racism and recently rampaged through Amsterdam before and after a game there, chanting “Death to Arabs” and singing songs about rape and the murder of children. Their violence was subjected to an Islamophobic whitewashed by UK and other western politicians and media, but played a major role in the Dutch intelligence services classifying Israel as a threat to the Netherlands’ national security.

Though active on X today, Starmer has made no move to row back on his smears of Birmingham or even mentioned the Tel Aviv game’s cancellation.
