Trump just made the Charlie Kirk memorial all about him – and naturally, spouted hate

On 21 September, US president Donald Trump spoke at Charlie Kirk’s memorial. Despite spending the past few weeks complaining that his political opponents have attacked his character and put a target on his back, Trump spent a significant amount of time – you guessed it – attacking the character of his political opponents and putting a target on their backs:

Donald Trump describes the police state he and his administration are working to bring about with this as a pretext, the masses cheer. This isn’t a memorial service it’s a Nuremberg Rally. You’re going to miss Democracy even as you cheer its death MAGA

The Trump show at the Charlie Kirk memorial

People commented on how the memorial for Charlie Kirk quickly became a celebration of Donald Trump:

Trump and Erika Kirk stood side by side at the memorial for Charlie Kirk, under Turning Point banners, red lights, and cameras rolling.

Then Trump grabbed the mic and turned it into a campaign event.

This echoes Trump’s response a few days after the shooting:

“My condolences on the loss of your friend Charlie Kirk. How are you holding up?” – Reporter

“I think very good. And by the way, you see all the trucks? They just started construction of the new ballroom for the White House.” – Donald Trump

Speaking on the “very religious” nature of the memorial, the BBC reported:

One of the recurring themes throughout Charlie Kirk’s memorial is the influence of his Christian faith.

Quoting passages from the Bible, Erika Kirk said her late husband would show “love for our enemies and love for those who persecute us”.

She added that her husband would “forgive” his alleged shooter.

Continuing that Christian message, here’s Trump encouraging the hatred of your opponents:

Trump: Charlie did not hate his opponents. He wanted the best for them. That’s where I disagreed with Charlie. I hate my opponents. And I don’t want the best for them. I can’t stand my opponents.

— Ron Smith (@Ronxyz00) September 21, 2025

In the same speech, Trump also said:

And we have to bring back religion to America because without borders, law and order and religion, you really don’t have a country anymore.

Remember that bit in the Bible where Jesus said “hate thy neighbour?”

Remember that bit when the bad Samaritan kicked dirt at that man in the road?

Remember when Jesus turned the other cheek as a ruse only to subdue his enemy with krav maga?

To be fair, Jesus did kick the money lenders out of the temple, and Trump has had problems with people who loan him money. The difference is Jesus opposed to the predatory nature of loan sharks, whereas Trump just doesn’t pay his debts.

Brag man

Trump also used the opportunity of a public memorial to brag about an upcoming announcement he’s been teasing:

Trump: We found an answer to autism. We’re going to be talking in the oval office about autism how it happens. So, we won’t let it happen anymore

Wut

We’ll have more on this nonsense after the upcoming announcement, but for now, just be aware that Trump’s health guy is RFK Jr. – a man famous for stuff like this:

This seems normal: RFK Jr. sawed off whale’s head, drove with it on roof, daughter Kick says: ‘Rankest thing on the planet’ – https://t.co/Po4AUSHWI8 https://t.co/UZRUSjxHK6

— Joe Trippi (@JoeTrippi) August 27, 2024

RFK Jr blames the Democrats for making him look like a crazy person

Nothing to do with his 14 yr heroin addiction which he cited as boosting his IQ massively, claiming he had a worm in his brain, and driving out of Central Park with a bear on his roof

RFK Jr. explaining why he wears jeans when he works out confirms that he actually had a worm in his head.

Holy hell. 🤣 pic.twitter.com/rCyyKjmzO5

— CALL TO ACTIVISM (@CalltoActivism) August 21, 2025

Don’t worry, though, he hasn’t let the worm stop him from swimming in tainted water:

— Molly Ploofkins (@Mollyploofkins) May 13, 2025

So this is the guy who’s going to ‘cure’ autism.

I’m sure it’s not an issue that scientists think he’s a quack weirdo, or that he has a history of profiting from his weirdo quackery, or that he was linked to a measles outbreak in Samoa:

The cause of autism is complex. Many brilliant scientists dedicate their careers to it.

RFK Jr is going to use some unconvincing data to pin it on Tylenol (and eventually find a way to blame vaccines)

A flood of lawsuits will follow and he will cash in

This isn’t science

— Neil Stone (@DrNeilStone) September 22, 2025

YouTuber Pointless Hub (check them out) noted how quickly things are spiralling into absurdity:

Imagine telling someone a month ago that Trump was gonna announce the cure to autism at Charlie Kirk’s funeral https://t.co/zuZ1gRt3os

— PointlessHub (@HubPointless) September 21, 2025

The united state of things

The situation in America is quickly deteriorating, with Trump pushing an anti-free speech agenda while simultaneously bolstering a masked secret police force and crashing the economy. While it’s bad enough the administration is pushing quack remedies, this situation is made worse by the hundreds of rural hospitals which are likely to close as a result of Trump’s Big, Beautiful Bill (if they’re not closing already).

It might be tempting to think things couldn’t get this bad over here, but don’t forget, Trump is close friends with Nigel Farage. Do you think Farage likes Trump for his witty conversation, or do you think he wants to emulate the American model?

We’ve talked about Reform politicians wanting to copy America’s disastrous ‘DOGE’ cuts; did you also know they had a quack doctor of their own at the recent Reform conference? Oh, and if you think Farage is Mr Free Speech, remember he supported the government proscribing a non-violent protest group as a ‘terrorist’ organisation.

Keep an eye on America over the next three years, and ask yourself if you want that chaos over here.

If you don’t, you need to keep a healthy distance from the people who want to import it.
